HELLO!!! Anyone there????

Wow. I'm sure I've set a record for longest blogging absence!?! If not, I definitely deserve some sort of award reading "worlds worst blogger" or maybe "most neglectful blogger". Anyway...I'd like to inform you that we are alive, well, and write with many many updates for you. To save time I'll use a bullet theme.

- We have been living in Washington for about 3 months now! Yes... We survived the 55 hour car ride...making stops in Denver to see some besties, Vegas to have some fun, meet up with Tony's family to caravan the rest of the way, and a  concussion scare from Ezra, and our last great stop.. sunny California to see my Dad..enjoy the beaches and Disneyland!!
- I am 19 weeks PREGNANT with a little baby BOY!! That means I made the long haul drive while in my 1st trimester. Luckily I didn't know yet and did great. Even through a 12+ hour Disneyland day! Whew.
(Can we all just give a little giggle to Ezra's face here. Apparently my mom thinks he is the spitting image of all the goofy faces I made as a kid).
- We went back to Nashville in September for my sister's wedding!!! Now that will be a post all in itself!! It was the BEST wedding and she was a drop dead GORGEOUS bride!!!!!
-Ezra started pre-k and is really enjoying it!
- We're Enjoying fall and are excited for all things HOLIDAY! (I've been caught listening to Christmas tunes, putting Christmas movies on for the kids and squealing over the snowflakes on the bottle of Coffee Mate Creamer).
- The kids were adorable and had a very busy Halloween weekend! Candy, parties, friends and fam!

(This superhero means BUSINESS!!)
So that's what we've been up to.. plus a lot lot more, obviously.. since I haven't blogged in oh say... 90 something days. Expect to hear more from me soon!

Ezra is 4!!!
(Ok.. 4 and three weeks.. but cut me some slack here!!)
His AWESOME lego cake that my friend made for him.
We celebrated at the coolest indoor play area/coffee shop. It has storefronts for the kiddos to play in, a HUGE treehouse, a lego room, pool tables, air hockey, xbox, a rock climbing wall, coffee shop/pizza, and MORE! It was amazing!!!
His custom wrapped gift from his Auntie (Auntie not pictured.)
We've been ALL about the LEGOS!!!!!
What's wrong with this pic? Ezra's friend behind him is still singing 'happy birthday' and Ezra has already blown out a candle. Anxious much!?!
It was a great party and all of his best buddies were there (minus his best friend Drew but we had our own celebration at Chuck E. Cheese).

I love my little Ezra and can't believe how he grew up before my eyes. He's not a baby.. not a toddler but a BIG BOY.
-Ezra still loves his Baboo (BlaBla) and sleeps with him every night.
-He loves legos, playing xbox with daddy, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and all things BOY!
-Sometimes he is EXTREMELY sweet!!!! ... and sometimes...not so sweet.
-Never stops and NEVER ceases to have energy.
-He has recently started chewing gum and asks for it daily.
-Still a major Daddy's boy.
-Is very compassionate when someone isn't feeling well.
-Is a BIG talker.
-Loves God and talks about heaven often.
-Nicknames: Ez, Ezzy, Bubba

Recent Ez quotes:
"Awwww.. I saw a baby cow!! Mom, tell all your friends!!!!!!!"
"Thank you guys for protecting me." (As we walked across the street.)
"Mommy, I prayed that I will be wise." (Random and melted my heart.)
"Kings is a cutie because he says STOOOOOP!!" (Love to hear him say 'cutie' and other sensitive words.)

Thank you for the best 4 years of my life little Ezra Davide!! Your Mommy loves you!!!

Life has been INSANE.....
Pardon my blog absence.. I had no idea how to catch you up on the many happenings around here. But now I'll attempt to make up for lost time as best as I can.

-We've moved out of our house and temporarily into my Mom's house.
-We've ordered a 'POD' and will load up all of our things this weekend.
-The kids are doing great.
-We've had lots of garage sales.
-We bought a Toyota 4runner SUV and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
-It has been HOT
-We have surprise plans to lay down a new flooring in our house and do some re-painting. ergh.
-We would appreciate all prayers as we're still trying to rent out our house and sell our car.

To make up for lost time I'll include some pictures with captions.
About a week ago we were in our house ... using boxes..
..and rubbermaids as kitchen tables!
We've been cleaning a lot!!!
 And being cute.
Here is the boys' room the day before move out day.
Ezra thought it was awesome to get to sleep on the floor.
We laughed about the kitchen table on moving day.
Can you find Ezra at the table eating breakfast?

We're planning to pull out of here early on the 23rd. YES.. WE ARE DRIVING. I know I know... call me crazy. We're going to make some memories.. have some laughs.. praying for no tears. (Haha.. wishful thinking, right!?!?) We're going to make some fun stops along the way and I will hopefully keep you posted on our wonderfully exciting and insane life. XoXo friends!

Welcome 13 year Cicadas.
If you're not familiar with these creepy red eyed creatures check THIS out.

They are LOUD
They are CREEPY
and Ezra LOVES THEM!!!
(In this picture he is asking to hold one TWO MORE TIMES!!!???)

Ezra quotes regarding Cicadas.
-"Can I put him in my pocket?"
-"I wish one can be my pet someday."
-On a walk the other day we passed a group of them and the noise was ear piercing. Ezra had to cover his ears. A few minutes later he said  "I love them with all my heart, I just don't like that noise."
-"If I tell you he's harmless it's ok to bring him inside?" (Can you guess my answer??)

It was a happy day for me.
I love my boys so much! Ezra is at such a sweet age and continued to wish me a happy mother's day all throughout the day. In fact he even wished his daddy and auntie Jenna (non mom) a happy mother's day as well. What a little darling. He bought me flowers, a sweet card, and made me my favorite blueberry muffins! And to top it off I get to have a mani/pedi with my mom and sis. Well done Ezra and Kingsley!   Oh, and a BIG thanks to their sweet Daddy. I love my family!

So there..

I've said it.
We're MOVING!

So what have I been up to?
-Getting the house in tip top condition as we have potential renters coming by on Thursday! (fingers crossed.)
-Posting 1,452 items for sale on craigslist.
-Running around like a crazy lady trying to pick up after 2 kids... it's just useless.
-Preparing for a major garage sale.

It's work, I tell ya! It will be nice to have this bit of chaos behind us!

I'm quiet the sentimental fool. I have a hard time getting rid of things.. especially childhood things. I came across this as I was attempting to purge.
When I was born my Mom's best friend made this and gave it to her! It's got my weight, length and birthday! I actually wrapped it in newspaper and kept it in the 'keep' box. But since my husband as a strong 'you must LOVE it if we're bringing it' mentality.. I pulled it out. You should be so proud of me! I thought taking some pictures and tossing it will do.

Now that's a step in the right direction! (pats self on back.)

A BIG change and a BIGGER GOD!

Is. 65:24- And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Mark 11:24-Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Ps. 37:4- Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

A few days ago Ezra prayed a prayer,
In it he asked that God would help make Grandma and Grandpa's house (In Washington) closer to his. When I told this to Tony his response was:
"If he only knew..."
Months ago Tony and I began praying for direction for our future.. We sensed that we wouldn't be in Tennessee much longer.. but where exactly was God directing us? After months of seeking HIM and a complete heart transformation for me, we have direction. We will be moving back to Washington. There will still be hurdles we'll have to face, but we have peace. -Philippians 4:7-And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
The time frame is still a bit unsure.. but will most likely be in July. We will be staying with my in-laws for the time being and Tony will plan to look for an internship. Only God knows how long we will actually be there. When Tony graduates (a year from September) we may go where there is job opportunity..and that could even end up being Washington.. (Or Chicago) Right, sis? :)

I find God so amazing!!.. and I LOVE learning more about him through parenting. I love that Ezra's prayer went up to heaven, but God had already been in the processing of answering that prayer months ago!! He is so good!
