Happy Halloween

How did Halloween sneak up on me so quickly?
Last night I thought "Oh shoot, I didn't even carve a pumpkin!"
So, lets pretend I carved this beauty.

So.. I'm sure none of you remember the hilarious character on Full House named Walter. He did this crazy lip pucker all the time. I think they called it duck face. Ezra's newest talent is doing 'Walter Lips'. It is sooo stinking funny.. and he KNOWS it! He just keeps doing it and dong it.. probably because of the great reaction he gets from anyone watching. He cracks up too. He may look a little silly.. but this is the cutest and funniest thing in person.

Yesterday I had to say goodbye to my good friend Juli and her hubby and kids. They're moving back home to Atlanta. Luckily the drive isn't too bad, and it gives me a reason to visit the city. Anyway.. I'm sad, but I know that's the path God has for them. I'm just happy to have her friendship.

Here is a picture of our too cute boys.

Love you guys!

This is a once in a lifetime happening-
Tony is in bed before me! Seriously if you know Tony, and you know ME. . you know that this kind of thing NEVER happens. I don't really know that I'm going to like falling asleep next to someone who is already sleeping. It's weird. How does he do it all the time? Anyway, he isn't throwing up thank God.. he just feels yucky. So hopefully he'll sleep it off. I'm off to take a bath in my oh so quiet home. Bye!
This past week our family was so kindly greeted by the stomach flu. It started with me going into E's room Tuesday morning to find him covered in puke. The strange thing is he didn't cry for me at all during the night when he got sick. After that he was just fine. Then come Wednesday night I was feeling pretty lousy. Sure enough, I got it and threw up about every hour all night long. It is just a miserable feeling, isn't it? The next day I went to the Doc. and got on some anti-nausea meds. I'm feeling much better now, but it sure kicked my booty. I was so weak until just today. This nasty little sucker made it to both of the kids I watch, and their parents. :( I just talked to Tony and he isn't feeling so hot himself. I'm praying for him.
So while recuperating from all of that, today I notice Ezra's two front teeth are slightly chipped. Wonderful. So now I'll be deciding what to do about that. Joy oh joy. How do people raise kids without the Lord. It is NOT a walk in the park. Although I looove my baby boy!!
----------------------------------------------
Here he is in deep concentration while watching a
Baby Einstein DVD.
He looks bored out of his mind if you ask me.
Now he's showing some interest.
Drumroll... here is the cutie mid- "MOO".

In the spirit of Halloween...

Be a good pumpkin...

Not a bad one..

A woman was asked by a co-worker,'What is it like to be a Christian?' The co-worker replied, 'It is like being a pumpkin.' God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. Then He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff. He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, and greed. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see.'

This cute story was in an e-mail I received today. It fits perfectly with the message I heard Joyce Meyer give this morning. She was talking with different people about how we need to let the love of God be evident in our daily life. We don't need to force everyone into saying the sinner's prayer, but instead we need to show them how our life has been changed by the Lord. It's pretty simple, but also very inspiring. Maybe God is trying to teach me something by the illuminated pumpkins this season.

The Factory

This week end we took a trip to TheFactory in downtown Franklin. It was really fun! We ate at a cute restaurant, and Ez was really good!

Ez on the ride up. Guess he got a little bored.

My highlight: Sitting with my boys in this
awesome chair!

RANDOM things and bye bye miss american.. acura

Ez pic

It's crazy how much he's looking like Tony these days. I'm seeing it more and more.. they were sitting by eachother the other night eating.. and eyes were the same.. mouths moved the
same way, same expressions. Just CRAZY. And how cute is Tony..
he thinks him and Ezra and JUST the same.. like everything about how
Ez is or acts, somehow relates to Tony and his childhood.
Example:
Nicole: Ezra LOVES playing in his room.
Tony: Yeah, I really loved playing in my room too when I was little.

In other news..the Acura is no longer with us. It had been having SO many issues, so we finally sold it two days ago. It's no biggy since I'm home 5 days a week watching the kiddos. Plus the Acura rarely started, so it's not like it did us much good. Tony is planning on getting a motorcycle after winter is over. I'm not that FOND of the idea, but God will protect him.

OK people.. whoopsie daisy.. so after the silly numbering job I did on the last post was brought to my attention, I am officially announcing that Alison Christine Ennis is taking over the role of BLOG EDITOR. I'm just not focused enough to pay attention to minor details like keeping with my numbering system. I sit at the comp and try to make my brain and fingers work as fast as possible. Hope you all understand and just laugh at me. NOT because I'm a LITTLE slow.. but because I am a crazy overworked Mother. :)

PS- I hate blogger!!!

The Hanson concert

It was an amazing day! Here are some of the awesome highlights!!

#5 We were a part of ‘The Walk’ which was one of the best parts of the day. Along with many other crazy fans and Hanson, we took the mile long walk (barefoot) around downtown Nashville to fight/raise awareness of poverty and AIDS in Africa. It was a really cool thing to be a part of.

#4 When Hanson walked out of the venue to begin The Walk, Isaac waved to Jenna and I, and stood right in front of us with his huge million dollar smile. Not to mention that he did take a picture of us!!

#3 When we sat down by the river during The Walk for Taylor to talk to us about the importance of what we were doing, and the impact we can have on the less fortunate, Zac was making some serious eyes at Jenna. He stared at her in interest for the majority of our time there by the river.

#4 After taking part in the 1mile walk, Hanson donates a dollar on behalf of each person who walked. We were able to choose what cause we wanted our dollar to be put toward. There were a couple of people standing with Taylor behind a table, and I asked one woman working there for clarification on something, and she asked someone next to her, who asked Taylor. And Taylor said ‘Hold up’ and leaned over to me and explained it. WOO HOO. That takes the cake yall! ‘Hold up girl, HOLD UP’ as Jenna and I like to say!

#5 We totally were chillin' by ourselves down by the river before the show and saw Ike and Zac getting off their bus.

#6 OK, and the next best highlight of the night.. Jenna and I attended a Hanson show in Seattle where we were basically in a mosh pit type setting where everyone was pushing and shoving to get there way to the front. and girls were passing out and stuff... (and this was at the LOWEST point of their career so the fans should be even MORE into it now that their fan base has grown, right?) WONDERFUL. That is just our cup of tea.. we’re ready to drop some bows on anyone to get front and center to our boys. Well these lukewarm Nashville fans were NOT having it. They were getting mad at us for jumping, screaming and pushing. Ok, the pushing I MIGHT understand. But hey guys.. were at a concert the jumping and screaming is TOTALLY acceptable. Taylor was loving that we were jumping and he was totally smiling at us. In this big crowd we were maybe 7 people from the front but that was not good enough. Although we tried to bully our way closer, these people were NOT having it. We decided to bail on that and make our way to the balcony..when we left Taylor totally lost his smile.. but then he finally spotted us again, up in the balcony dancing our butt’s off. He totally smiled, stared at us forever and then waved! and he kept waving at us all night... sigh... that was amazing. Now how’s that you grumpy floor fans!?
