Inside my head-

Last night I had a dream that while Ezra was napping, Tony & I went down the street to hang with some friends. (You know how dreams are!) So I end up staying there way to long.. and when it's time to leave.. I can't find the keys.. I'm supposed to drive a motorcycle to get home.. etc. So finally I was like "I'm just walking." I go up the street and my house isn't there. Instead there are just TONS of condos everywhere. So I get Tony and I'm like "Oh my gosh.. help me find Ezra!" We go up and down every street, and I'm just freaking out.. like "I know he's up from his nap right now.. he's probably scared.." blah blah. So we end up going to this big rec center and I see my sister. So I ask her "Where is Ezra!?" And she says "Better than Ezra?" Like she had no clue what I was talking about. At this point I had lost Tony and I'm calling out for him. Then I turn the corner and see him and George.. and Tony says "I just saw your diamond." (As in diamond ring.) So, confused.. I look to my friend Grace and I asked her "What's going on? Am I married?" And she says "You will be in a few days!" So I realize in this dream we were single without a baby.

There was no Ezra.

LET ME TELL YOU.. I'm REALLLLY GLAD THERE IS AN EZRA IN REAL LIFE! SOMETHING WAS MISSING!!

*My brother in-law George will be heading to Iraq for 1 year on August 31st. Please pray for his safety while he's there, and that he would be comforted while across the world.

*My father in-laws sister Sheila died yesterday. The cause is still unknown. Please pray for comfort for her grieving family. She had two sons Gary and Jerry.

Sleep.. who really needs it?

(Yaaawwwn) Hello and good morning to everyone. Just here to let you know that sleep is really so over rated, I've just decided to start sleeping 4 hrs a night. Well, Ezra decided for me actually. So the story goes something like this ... remember... I'm a little fuzzy this morning.

11:00- After getting Ezra off to bed, cleaning the house, and spending hubby time, I went to bed.
1:20- Jump out of bed because Ezra is screaming. Console him, change his diaper and lay him down. Ahh, back to bed!
1:30- Still crying.. give Ezra a bottle. Drinks 8oz. Good, now he's got a full tummy.
2:15- Wake up to Ezra crying.. slide out of bed. Give Ezra Tylenol because he must be teething. Rock my little baby.
3:00- Bring my baby to bed with us. He yells "DADA" as happily as he can when we enter the room. He wanted to be silly and play. Not cool. Back to his crib.
3:30- Daddy goes into Ezra's room, decides he's hungry. We give Erza some bread and milk. Ezra goes to bed.
4:00- Mom goes to bed.
6:45- Mom wakes up to get ready, because the little boy I'm watching will get here at 7:30.

Yaaawwwwwwwwn.

Jimmy Needham

Saturday night I went to a Jimmy Needham album release show. It was SO GOOD! He is very talented.. and it was just awesome because it was down at a big park at night. I loved it. OH and after the show we met him.. and as I walked up to him I chanted 'Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy' please don't ask me why. Anyway, he said I look JUST like his best friend from high school. And I said 'It's ME!!' :) Haha. Here is a clip of the show.

PS- Tony had so much fun Saturday hanging with KJ and the band!!

K to the J

My hubby works with a guy named Blue who is KJ 52's drummer. Blue also helped Zac Hanson learn to drum better! Holler BLUE!! Anyhoo.. Blue asked Tony yesterday if he wanted to go with them to their show today in Alabama. Of coarse Tony is DOWN. So.. that's where my hubby is today! Holla holla all you christian hip hoppers! :)

I went to a Baby Sign class while Tony and George watched Ezra.

It was awesome. We all just relaxed at home for George's last day here.

this is life

I love where I’m at in life. I love that I’m experiencing the joy of raising a son, and at a young age too. I really look forward to the excitement of finding out I’m pregnant again.. someday. I’m married to the best husband I could ever imagine. I love that we don’t have everything we want . . . but we dream. A lot. We know someday we’ll have more than we have now, but we also know that life isn't about what we have. Life is too busy. The other day I was praying for God to bring peace and rest to our family. We need to find that daily quiet time with God and with each other. When you are so peaceful, and so rested.. life seems SO GOOD. Ha.. speaking of peace and rest..(side note) I can’t tell you how many nights in the last week a cricket woke me from mid sleep .. chirping at the top of his lungs. Is that what you call it.. chirping..? Each time I've had to get up and go sleep in the living room. It’s ridiculous. . he’s hiding underneath the baseboard. I hope he dies soon.. poor lil guy. OR if he comes out.. I’ll gladly take him outside. Life is good.. we've come so far!!

PS- Just found a cricket belly up on my bedroom floor. Pray that was my midnight friend!!

last night my mom treated my sister and me to a massage.

it was absolutely amazingly wonderful and relaxing.

i was so refreshed afterward. AND it was so nice to hear that ezra was

great for my mom while I was swept away to the spa.
