Blue tooth

Let me just tell you how unnecessary the "blue tooth" is. Why? Because they make people like me look like an IDIOT! So I'm working and this Rastafarian man comes in with his little boy.. and he's like "Do you have boys clothes, or just girls?" I was like "No.. we have boys too.. on this side." (I point) And he was like "coo coo...." then he started sayin' "I just picked him (the kid) up" and I'm like "Oh really" and he said "Yeah, down the street at the store called Cricket" and I was like "uh huh".. and he put up his finger sayin' "one sec.." and walked toward the door.. then he was like "I'm on the phone!!"...... How stupid did I feel? Like..."Sorry sir, I didn't seem to realize it was the year 2007." But they are a little creepy? Don't you agree. I mean, I feel a little silly myself using one. He was standing outside the store and I'm thinking PLEASE PLEASE don't come back in, I mean... how do you recover from that? Haha.. but he did and he actually didn't treat me like a moron.

To skate or not to skate

Since I couldn't find anyone to teach trapeze lessons around here.. I'm thinking I should take ice skating lessons. I'm thinkin' I need a hobby... something to be good at! So.. ice skating..why not? I'll be in such good shape, it'll be fun... and then I can totally relate to Napoleon in Blades Of Glory. Holla! My Aunt has been skating for years.. so she's going to teach me a thing or two.. and I'll also take lessons. Seems like a good idea to me. Now I just need to find a sweet skirt.. hmm..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Ezra

On June 26th at 8:55pm the stars went blue in Columbia Tennessee. Our baby boy was born. He would be called Ezra Davide Mann. He weighed 7 pounds and was 20 inches long. I know the phrase "I never knew I could love someone so much" is so over used ... but it is completely true! He is great! Each day his personality shines more and I fall in love with him on a whole new level. He changed everything. Naturally my heart ached for our poor little puppy Tripp because he would now take the back seat to Ezra. But after a few weeks I think everyone was adjusted to our new family. My emotions were another thing that went blue. I experienced the typical "baby blues".. but it was harder than I expected. It was hard for me to comprehend the fact that Tony and I couldn't just go do anything we wanted. But after a couple of weeks my emotions balanced out, and now that Ezra is three months old it is much easier. I'm more confident and not afraid to take him out in public. Also, his Grandma and Auntie are happy to watch him whenever we need to get out. Ezra is awesome!
