Our 12 step program

Ezra is now the member of our local 12 step program. ;) Hehe.
Yesterday Ezra took 12 steps with NO help. He's trying so hard and walking all over the place. We're so excited and proud of our little boy. New talents other than walking ... 1. attempts to whistle. 2. says 'uh oh' when he drops something. 3. calls for 'deedee' in the bath and knocks on the wall for him to come. Now here are some random pictures.

Ezra's having a bad hair day! ;)

Sweet Boy.

Don't turn your back on 'em for a SECOND!

(at least not around a container of wipes.)

Is a Hanson concert in my future...?

That's right ladies and gentlemen. I will be going to a HANSON concert on Oct. 3rd. I am SOOOO excited! Of coarse I'll be going with the worlds 2nd largest Hanson fan (not in size of coarse) my one and only sister Jenna. OMG- WE.LOVE.HANSON! We will also be participating in 'the walk' where we will walk a mile barefoot to raise awareness for the need for shoes around the world. Sponsored by TOMS http://www.tomsshoes.com/ (the company Jenna works for)- for every pair of shoes purchased, a pair is donated to a child that has no shoes. It's awesome! Check it out http://youtube.com/user/itzhanson?ob=4

Ok & I just found out the funniest thing. Dave Barnes is opening for them. That's so funny because I only know him as the crazy Christmas carol singer on youtube. Haha.

Hanson rocks.

My baby can sign!

Ever since Ezra was about 6 months old I would occasionally do the asl sign for "more" when he was eating.. well I really picked it back up again a couple of weeks ago, really working on it with him. Two or three days ago he started signing "more" when I was feeding him. So then we showed him the sign for "milk".. and he instantly picked it up, the next day we taught him "food" and again it was instant. It's so nice for us knowing that he can tell us what he wants. I can say "Ezra what do you want" and he'll sign "more milk".. and guzzle it down when he gets it. Signing really does work. I've heard it eliminates a lot of the 'terrible twos' because your baby can communicate their needs to you. I'm excited! There are SO many other signs I can't wait for him to learn. It's awesome!! I'll put a video on here once I get one.. it's the cutest little thing! Oh yeah, and he imitates me doing an elephant now.. arm for a trunk and all. I LOVE that EZRA!

1 year check up

Ezra's stats at 1 year:

Weight: 22.6 lbs- 40th percentile

Height: 32 inches- 96th percentile

So we're going to have one TALL boy. The Doctor said she wouldn't be surprised if he's AT LEAST 6'2. I can't believe the itty bitty boy I grew in my tummy could ever be THAT big!!
