Anyway, I've been on youtube looking up kids praise and worship songs. Hillsong has an amazing kids worship team. (Of coarse that doesn't surprise me one bit!) Click here to hear them. I do need to find a good CD though. If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them!
That's all for now!!

Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust."
3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you make the Most High your dwelling—
even the LORD, who is my refuge-
10 then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him
and show him my salvation."
After Ezra was born my Mom suggested that I pray this pray of protection over him. Each day before his nap I rock with him and proclaim this over his life. I've been doing it for as long as I can remember. I am not one to quickly memorize scripture- but let me tell you after only a few days of saying this prayer it became a part of me. Psalm 91 has helped me through times of fear. It is so powerful. The name of the Lord really is a strong tower. I hope that by hearing this prayer daily, it will go deep into Ezra's heart and will help him lean on the Lord.

They are out to get us!!

Yesterday I took a quick little trip to Ross. I had Ezra with me and he actually did pretty well. We had a typical shopping experience. After browsing around for 30 minutes or so, I took the cart up to the check out counter. Nothing abnormal there. The man was nice - chatted with me about the tornado warnings - I asked there return policy - paid and was done. So the sliding doors open wide, and I make an effort to push my cart with my 35 lb. (plus some) child, and two purchases through the door way. UGH..stuck. Ok, I didn't push hard enough ..this is a little embarrassing I thought. So I stuck my foot down on the bottom of the cart as I tried to push and lift it over whatever we had got caught on. No luck.. the cart didn't budge and it came back and hit my shin. Ouch. Right then the lady said in her southern drawl "Ma'am, the buggies don't go outside." I was struck by confusion. What?? Since when does a cart (known in the south as a BUUUUGIE) not go outside? It can't physically go outside or they don't want it out there?? She obviously saw my confusion and she continued "The wheels lock up." I don't have much to say except a very confused "WHAT????" Has anyone heard of this before.. because this is new to me.

Easter Bunny
That night when he went to bed I made the mistake of telling him a story about the Easter Bunny. He totally cried and cried when I was done and wouldn't sleep. I heard him in his crib crying "Bunnnny, Bunnnnnnnnny". Love that kid.
