1st visit to Chuck E. Cheese!

First I must make a congratulations announcement. Today Ali and Zach found out that they're having a little GIRL!!!! CONGRATULATIONS to them!! I'm SOOOOOO excited for the pink-ness!

In other news .. On Sunday we went to a birthday party for a little boy in our church. It was Ezra's 1st trip to Chuck E. Cheese. He loved it and was running around and taking it allll in. He LOVED when he got to see him in person.. and give hugs and high fives. For those of you who know me well.. I must confess.. I think I washed his hands 3 or 4 times while we were there. Ugh.. just SO many germs. Yuck. It was cute to see Ezra with his little friends.. and I was super proud he didn't blow out the candles on the cake or open ANY of the presents! A true success!

30 weeks!

Just TEN WEEKS to go until my due date!

To do:

name our son
paint nursery
put final touches on nursery (lamp curtains, ect)
pack our bags for the hospital
decide if I'm going to take a breast feeding class
cook & freeze meals for after baby comes
have mom help me sew the bedding to fit the cradle
clean clean and clean

hmm.. that's all I can think of for now. I'm sure more will come to mind later!

SMARTY pants!!!

Ok, for just turning two at the end of June.. I think this is pretty awesome!



Earlier today he actually went all the way from A-Z but I didn't catch it on tape.
I love my little smarty pants!
He is SO into dinosaurs right now and can tell you many of their names ... he also calls Tyrannosaurs Rex the 'Mean One' and he knows that he's a meat eater. The other day he took a toy giraffe and said 'Herbivore, only eats plants!' Crazy! There is a show on PBS called the Dinosaur Train.. and we're definitely addicted. Looks like I've got a little Ross Geller on my hands. ;)

28 weeks along!

I'm getting bigger! This little boy is moving a ton. I feel him mostly at night when things calm down. I think he's had the hiccups once or twice too. We're getting so excited for him to come! Today we set up his crib and started looking at paint colors. Woo Hoo!!

Baby bumps bedding..

I finally bought some bedding for the bambino! I love it .. and it's even cuter in person. The colors are so pretty and it's such a nice quality.. looks brand new! I found it on craigslist and got the following for only $35!!

If you've priced baby bedding.. you'll know that's a great deal. I'm excited! Now onto paint colors and all of the other fun details!! The plan is to keep baby in his own room until he can bunk in the cowboy room with Ezra.

Just thought I'd share!

The boy I love.
My heart aches a bit to think my love will soon be divided between two children. I just want to pour all of it out on Ezra right now.. and tell him a million times he's Mommy's favorite. It makes me a little sick to think about all of this. But I keep telling myself that I'm blessing him with the best gift of all.

I can't find my cable to upload pictures. . and with out pictures my blogs would be dull. But I'm actually SICK of looking at the same post on my page when I go there to visit the blogs I follow. So selfishly.. I'm putting something else up here.. ANYTHING else! I do plan to track down that cable so I can get some pictures and good blogs goin' on!

Sorry for being a bore! This is pretty exciting though. I'm 27 weeks pregnant now! WOW. It's going so fast. We've been busy busy trying to think up a great name. It's been VERY VERY hard this time around. We cannot agree on a name. But when we finally name that precious boy, I'll let you know!

I've been feeling pretty good. Just tired.. and feeling like my belly is really heavy. I've started having a hard time putting shoes on, and that kind of thing. I really can't believe that I have less than 3 months. It's flyyyying by. . we'll see if it stays that way as I get closer and closer to my due date.
