I was browsing there site and noticed that the long sleeved tee's are marked down from $36 to $12!! Just thought I'd pass along a good deal!

What has Ezra- (the 22 month old) been up to?!

*says 'Goo Moning' (Good Morning)
*loves being outside.
*blames his toots on Daddy. He toots and then says 'Daddy toot!' (Even when Daddy's at work.)
*says 'pay minute' usually said when he isn't ready to go to bed. This was birthed from me saying 'Ok, you can play a couple more minutes!'
*says 'yes ma'am' even to Daddy..and when other kids are grumbling he looks at them and loudly bursts out 'YES MA'AM' as if telling them to be polite.
*LOVES CURIOUS GEORGE. Asks to watch it about 46 times a day!!
*Is a total Daddy's boy.
*after a nap, I asked him if he had any dreams he said 'ribbit' so I said 'ribbit or rabbit?' and he said 'peter rabbit' :)
*holds his hands together when praying for our food.
*has spent a LOT of time in Time-Out recently. Seriously.. good thing he is so cute.
OH and how could I forget
*'eat honey' this is what my son says when he's hungry it means 'eat hungry' Haha.

we LOVE this little boy.

what to do with a weekend that has only rain and thunderstorms in the forecast?

-a trip to gymboree
-a long over due deep cleaning of our room
-a trip to the grocery store
-a fun craft project using onesies, rubber stamps and fabric paint
-dusting
-and perhaps a movie with my main squeeze

Hopefully today is no indication of the weekend to come. It is so nasty outside. If you were to even step foot out there for one second you'd be drenched. My oh my. Oh.. and happy MAY DAY.

I haven't had anything to blog about recently. Well actually we had an awesome week end.. but I can't seem to get my pictures on here at the moment. So.. that will be an extremely late post whenever I get around to it.

Anyway, I've been on youtube looking up kids praise and worship songs. Hillsong has an amazing kids worship team. (Of coarse that doesn't surprise me one bit!) Click here to hear them. I do need to find a good CD though. If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them!

That's all for now!!

Dinner and a night with Yanni Voices.

My Dad treated Jenna, Tony and I to a wonderful dinner and a "Yanni Voices" concert. It was lots of fun. I wouldn't think Yanni would be my type of music.. but it was a great show.. and the most incredibly talented people!! More pictures of the show to come. Thanks Dad!

Psalm 91

1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust."

3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare
and from the deadly pestilence.

4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,

6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.

8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 If you make the Most High your dwelling—
even the LORD, who is my refuge-

10 then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;

12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him
and show him my salvation."

After Ezra was born my Mom suggested that I pray this pray of protection over him. Each day before his nap I rock with him and proclaim this over his life. I've been doing it for as long as I can remember. I am not one to quickly memorize scripture- but let me tell you after only a few days of saying this prayer it became a part of me. Psalm 91 has helped me through times of fear. It is so powerful. The name of the Lord really is a strong tower. I hope that by hearing this prayer daily, it will go deep into Ezra's heart and will help him lean on the Lord.
