I'm soooo mature!!!

The color is PINK since I'm feeling REALLY girly with out my boys here!! :) The first night they left I stayed at my Mom's house. But last night I worked up the guts to stay at home all by myself. I was totally fine until American Idol was over.. then it started getting dark.. and bed time was approaching. I checked to make sure EVERY window was closed about 5 times.. no joke. Maybe a little obsessive compulsive.. but anyway. Once I got in bed I was good.. watched my Newlyweds Dvd. Very fun. It was so nice .. I think I may even do it again tonight. Remind me, WHYYYY did Nick and Jessica have to get divorced?!?

Last Thursday night we received a call no one ever wants to get. It was about 11:30pm and we were both sleeping. My phone rang and I got a message from Dad #2 (Bob) saying that we need to call as soon as we can because they needed to talk to us. We found out that Tony's best friend Nick was killed in a car accident. From what we know, he was passing a car and was hit head on by a semi truck. Tony and Ezra left today to fly to Washington to be at the funeral. I cried big alligator tears saying good bye to my boys.. especially that little one. Please keep Nick's family and friends in your prayers as they are all grieving and trying to make sense of such a terrible thing.

ten months

it's 77 out, today he had his 1st encounter with sunblock.

recently i thought "i wonder how many times a day I tell him that I love him?"

he's such a goof, i love hearing him laugh.

his little finger got pinched in a toy for the 1st time.

he's got such cute chubby feet.

he would be thrilled to never see another tissue again.

he's very excited his grandpa and then gramma and grandpa are coming out in 2 months.

an ear infection and a new job

Last night was one of the hardest nights we've had with Ezra so far. I'm sure we'll have harder in the future.. and last night was just practice. He had trouble sleeping for more than 30 minutes at a time, and was just screaming and crying most of the night. Until 2:45 when he finally gave up the fight against sleep. I took him into the Doctor this morning and he's got a mild ear infection. Well after our terrible night and seeing our little one in so much pain we really needed something uplifting.. and that's EXACTLY what we got. This morning Tony was offered a position that he interviewed for at a company called Uth Stuph. He'll be doing shipping/receiving in the factory. We're SO excited.. it's great all around.. but the hours are awesome 8-4.. so he'll actually be able to spend some time with us during the evenings. Right now he gets home around 6:30. Anyway, THANK YOU LORD! It really goes to show you 1. God answers prayers. and 2. It is always darkest before the dawn. CONGRATS TONY!!! To see the website for Uth Stuph go to:
