Umm.. Mom???

I don't think this is a swaddle blanket.

I don't know about your child, but mine loves being swaddled. Ezra did also.
But lets face it people.. as new moms were not always caught up on laundry. SO.. if you're desperate for a clean swaddle blanket but can't find one- use an infant towel like I did! They work great because they're so stretchy.. but he's just about too big to stretch it around him.

I promise .. one of these days I'll find something interesting to blog about other than my children. But lets face it.. they are cute.. and you DO wanna see their pictures, don't you?!

Tony and Ezra were getting ready to 'play' monopoly the other night when Ezra said
"I feel toooo big and fat to play monopoly!"
He always keeps us laughing.

Yesterday Kingsley ROLLED from tummy to back.
He is only 4 1/2 weeks old!
Crazy, right?!

Since it has been freezing here, it was so nice to have a day in the 50's on Friday! We were able to get out of the house for a walk..it was wonderful. And it was Kingsley's first trip to the park!!

Kingsley: "I said keep this stroller moving MAMA!"

1 month!

Birth stats:
weight- 8lbs 10oz &
height- 21.5in

1 months stats:
weight-10lbs 15oz (80%) &
height-22.5in (88%)

what this last month has held:

while on his tummy he turned his head from left to right
while on his tummy he can hold his head up a bit
around week 3 he started making all kinds of sweet baby noises
he has really started focusing on things with his eyes
smiles.. probably due to gas. (he's a gassy boy)
got a clogged tear duct and had to be put on eye drops
gets up for just one feeding at night (goes about 4 hrs between feedings)
loves the bouncy seat w/ vibration (typically sleeps here or in cradle)


The sweetest quote of the month was said when Kingsley was a week or so old.
"I already can't imagine my life with out him!" -Daddy
