saturday - date night

Tony and I dropped Ezra off with my mom and sis on Sat. night to go out on our much needed date. We had TONS of fun. First we went to dinner at California Pizza Kitchen & shopped around the Hill Center, then we went to see Lakeview Terrace. What a crazy movie! And then we stopped off for some energy drinks to gear us up for our 11:00 'Need to Breathe' show. OK people the show was AMAZING. We absolutely love NeedtoBreathe. They were even better live ... so cool and totally have their own cool style that you don't really see or hear by just listening to them. They sing the 'Yahweh' song. Anyway.. we had such a good time there. I even reached out and touched the lead singers sweaty arm and said 'Great job!' as he walked by. Haha. OH, and I have this crazy feeling that Jenna and the band member Beau are going to get married.. just sayin!! Anyway, to top off the great night, mom and Jenn took baby duty during the night so we could get some sleep. Thanks guys!

you know you're a mom when...

you found out the surprise date you've planned to take your husband on won't get over 'till 1:15am and you don't know how in the world you're going to stay awake that long. ;)

We're going out tomorrow night.. I'll give you all the great details Sunday!

Daddy's crazy. Mom was too chicken to go rock jumping! I didn't even get to go because I was sick.

Despite the fact that E caught a cold, we had an awesome weekend. Really, it was one of the best that I can remember. We had lots of family time together, and E was just really happy!

Evidence of a trip to the park

Yesterday we went to the park and Ez took a spill off of a tri-cycle. His poor little face hit the cement. SAD. Not super hard or anything. He was really brave but he's got battle wounds. Look at this nose! I hope you notice the banana in his hair. Oh boy!

Hallelujah!!

He slept the night! Just put Orajel on his gums where he's teething before bed.. and he slept the night!! My prayers have been answered! We both felt so much better this morning. He woke up so happy! :) You'll hear more from me later. For now, he's napping and I want to get things done around the house.
