Yesterday was AMAZING. It was so nice outside.. it even hit 70 degrees!
It reminded me that the warm weather is coming!

We had lunch outside at our patio table, ran around the backyard, cleaned up the patio, got so hot we had to take off our sweatshirts, watched Kingsley nap in the peaceful warm breeze, day dreamed about flowers to plant, & took a trip to the park.

We took a little road trip to Little Rock, Arkansas.

This week end we...


drove in the car with two kids for about 14 hours- they both did GREAT..way better than I expected!!!

realized it's hard to pack for two children.. but learned to improvise when I forgot a few things.

encouraged Ezra to jump up and down on the hotel beds.

laughed when Ezra said the highlight of his trip was the continental breakfast.

made lots of stops at truck stops and gas stations. Eww.

put a size 5 diaper on Kingsley, who wears a size 1.

consumed lots of m&m's.

bought a car!

It's a 2001 Toyota Mr2 Spyder.
It's got low miles and was a great deal!
We're super happy with our purchase and have no plans
to return to Arkansas anytime in the near future.

-Hanging with new friends!
-Cuddling baby Paisley! She is too precious.
-Becoming re-addicted to Craigslist. (Good when I'm selling.. not when I'm buying!)
-Learning how to coupon on couponmom.com
-Trying to keep a tidy house by following tips from flylady.net. LOVE HER!!
-Loving my boys..all 3 of them.
-Totally looking forward to a week end in the 60's. The park is calling my name!

Add your child.Happy to announce all little bottoms in this family are happy and almost back to normal. (Get it.. BACK to normal... haha). I did this oatmeal soak--along with patting him dry with a cotton towel after each changing, letting him get a little air down there and using some ointment. But I give most of the credit to the oatmeal soak which reduced a ton of redness.

2 months

Yesterday was Kingsley's 2 month birthday!
What has he been up to this past month?

::rolled over at 4 1/2 weeks::
::has gone about 7 hours between feedings::
::caught 1st cold at 6 weeks :(::
::wakes once at night to be fed::
::sleeps really well in cradle (after breaking habit of sleeping in my arms while he was sick)::
::doesn't really love the swing::
::coos and makes baby noises.. the noise he's known for sounds like he's saying 'hiiiiiii'::
::loves the bouncy::
::typically falls asleep on his own::
::SMILES!!::
::wearing some 9 month old clothing- BIG boy!::
::loves to be in someones arms while they're walking::
::pretty good with tummy time.. he's either content awhile till he gets fussy.. or just falls asleep::
